Flameproof Electrical Enclosures was formed in 1982. Flameproof Electrical Enclosures Ltd (FEEL) specialise in the manufacture of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Cast Iron, GRP and Aluminium terminal enclosures and junction boxes suitable for installation within explosive atmospheres. The enclosures are certified and meet the requirements of the ATEX Directive and conform to quality standard ISO 9001:2000.

Additionally, some enclosures display features not readily available elsewhere, for example Stainless Steel, submersible to a depth of ten metres and operational in ambient temperatures of -45ºC to +60ºC. Some Cast Iron enclosures are approved for installation within a range of -60ºC to +150ºC. As a very minimum all products meet an ingress protection of IP66 and they can be fitted with any ATEX approved terminals.
